As part of the ongoing 7-day NSS camp organized by KC College of Education,
Dr. Gurpreet Kour, NSS Program Officer, GCW Parade delivered an enlightening guest
lecture on "My Bharat Portal" at Govt. Higher Sec. School, Nowabad. The lecture
highlighted the portal's role in empowering Indian youth through social mobility, educational
equality and practical skills. Dr. Gurpreet Kour emphasized the importance of citizen
engagement, participatory governance, and nation-building. She also shared insights on the
portal's features, such as:
- Experiential Learning: Opportunities for youth to gain practical skills and experience
- Volunteer for Bharat: Platform for youth to contribute to national development.
- CV Builder: Tool for youth to build and enhance their career prospects.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty, who engaged in
discussions and Q&A sessions. The lecture inspired the youth to leverage My Bharat Portal
for their personal and professional growth.
