K.C. College of Education Observed Earth Day

Environmental Club of K.C. College of Education observed ‘Earth Day’, which is celebrated
annually on April 22 nd . It serves as a reminder of the importance of environmental protection
and sustainability. The members of the club planned and organized a poster making activity
for the students of Arya Girls High School, Jammu. The main aim of the activity was to
spread the awareness about the importance of sustainable development. Convenor of the club,
Dr. Puja Sharma along with the members of the club educated the students on issues of
environmental concern.

A good number of students of Arya Girls High School participated in the poster
making activity organized by the club and showcased their talents and creativity through the
beautiful drawings made by them on the theme “Planet vs Plastic”. The activity was
convened by Dr. Puja Sharma and Ms. Rita Jamwal. Club convenor applauded the efforts of
the club and participation of the students in the activity and mentioned that the club will
continue doing such activity involving the locals so that the club can achieve the aim of
spreading awareness among the masses about environment protection, preservation and
conservation.
